Website analytics
My Kitchen Reviews uses a self-hosted Rybbit analytics service at rybbit.derhuber.com. It records the pages people visit, where a visit came from, visit duration, device and browser information, approximate country or region and campaign parameters. It also records when an affiliate link is selected.
The analytics script does not use advertising cookies. It may process an IP address briefly to estimate location and distinguish one visit from another. The analytics setup is intended not to retain the full address. We use the resulting data to understand which articles people read and which outbound affiliate links they use.
Affiliate links
Links marked as affiliate links lead to Amazon or another merchant. The destination site receives the normal request information when a link is opened and applies its own privacy policy. My Kitchen Reviews does not receive a buyer’s name, address, payment details or complete order history from Amazon.
Contact
If you email the site, we keep your message, email address and related correspondence only as long as needed to answer, maintain a correction record or meet a legal obligation. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Hosting and logs
The hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser information in security and access logs. These logs help keep the site available, investigate errors and block abuse. Retention depends on the provider’s settings.
Your choices
Browser privacy tools and content blockers can prevent analytics requests. To ask about personal information you provided directly, request a correction or request deletion, email editor@mykitchenreviews.com. Legal record-keeping requirements may limit what can be deleted.
